Summer is popping in Bend and it is as lovely as ever with clear blue skies, emerald river water, and warm days followed by cool mountain nights.
I am excited to share what I love about Bend and provide helpful insight into the Bend and Central Oregon real estate market. As always, I share some of my Central Oregon photography with you to enjoy.
After a great spring, summer is starting out beautifully here in Bend. Unlike most of the U.S. our Pacific Northwest location has kept us with mild warm days and cool nights making for the perfect conditions to enjoy all the outdoor activities in Central Oregon.
Below you will find a monthly market report and statistics for Central Oregon and learn about some unique buying opportunities that are truly special in Bend. You'll also find community events, restaurant spotlights, the latest edition of GG Magazine, and 3 local blogs of things to do in Bend.
Big changes are happening in Central Oregon that continue to improve the livability of the region. Road improvements in the north corridor of Bend and highway 97 will finally add an extension to the Bend Parkway improving traffic flow and opening new development like Costco's new superstore off Cooley Road. A new state of the art pedestrian bridge will soon connect mid-town Bend with downtown, opening areas like mid-town to great investment opportunities.
Over the last year I have worked with buyers in price ranges from $500,000 to over $2,000,000 and have been in hundreds of homes. Getting in homes and understanding their value is something that allows me to identify good value opportunities for my clients. Patience, a keen understanding of the market and specific home value, and solid negotiating skills can produce incredible opportunities in any real estate market.
If you or someone you know is considering buying or selling real estate in Bend, I can help guide you through the process and realize your goals.
For those friends who don't live in Bend permanently and will be visiting this summer, please reach out and let's meet up for a coffee. I love discussing everything happening in Bend.
Cheers!
James
